'It’s time the drudgery of ‘life admin’ was given some proper recognition' writes Rhymer Rigby in this morning's The Times.
The article mentions a LinkedIn post from Ash Jones three days ago who generously gives his team a half day off each month (that's six days each year) to help them manage their life admin overwhelm.
Why?
Because as Ash states 'The last thing anyone wants to do on the weekend is life admin'. As Rhymer points out 'staff are going to do life admin at work regardless because they often have no choice'.
We have more life admin, and life admin tasks, than ever before with the article quoting information I've shared here earlier:
🤯 Britons have up to four hours’ outstanding admin tasks to complete
🤯 The average UK adult does 109 life admin tasks a year - now this was from a poll taken five years ago. I'm willing to bet this has increased.
🤯Life Admin is a source of stress and even can hold people back in their lives and careers - around 50% of people in the UK alone!
🤯Life Admin never ends
Businesses can and should 'badge' the benefit of life admin support clearly and separately to other benefits: sorting your life admin is very different to a yoga retreat or a day at Nirvana.
I love what Ash is doing ❤️
However.
Not every company can afford their people to be 'out' for six days each year. Either financially or physically.
That's why Doqit is such a relevant benefit for your people.
✅ You know they're stressed with their life admin.
✅You know they're playing catch up at work.
💡 You maybe didn't know Doqit can help... you do now!
Giving your people / colleagues / team Doqit gives them a single place to manage all their day-to-day life admin paperwork, dates and reminders.
It helps reduce the time, the unnecessary spend, and stress their life admin brings... making physical tasks like dropping back a return to the Next, or the car for it's MOT less onerous.
The cost - less than three hours of minimum wage rate for a whole year.
As we say here on LinkedIn Rhymer... it really is a win-win! 🏆
