Hey there, I'm Catherine Ann, the founder of Doqit, and welcome to our blog!
It all started with the challenges of being a working lone parent to my daughter Chloe, who has a rare genetic condition. Balancing Chloe's medical needs with the complexities of day-to-day life admin was a constant juggling act.
Imagine navigating the labyrinth of insurances, warranties, hospital appointments, and tax returns while trying to provide the best care for your child. It felt like drowning under a tidal wave of disorganization and uncertainty. It was in these moments that the idea for Doqit was born.
The vision was crystal clear: create a platform that would simplify and centralize life admin. I wanted to empower individuals like you to effortlessly manage their day-to-day tasks, saving time, money, and most importantly, reducing stress. I wanted to give you a single, trustworthy place to handle everything life throws at you, because that's what I needed!
But I knew I couldn't do it alone.
That's when I joined forces with Damien, my co-founder, and together, we assembled a powerhouse team. With the support of a domain expert Board and the expertise of our development partner, Founder+Lightning, we set out to turn this vision into a reality.
In June 2023, after tireless dedication and hard work, Doqit went live. The response has been overwhelming. Already, we're seeing the impact it's making, helping people not just in the UK, but all over the world, regain control over their life admin overwhelm.
